Jef has an MA in Theatre Arts from the University of Oregon, and a BA in Theatre and a BA in Psychology from the College of Idaho. Jef received a Masters of Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing and Directing from the University of Idaho. Professional experience includes performance work for Idaho Shakespeare Festival and Alley Repertory Theatre, and directing and dramaturgy work at Alley Rep and the College of Idaho. He has taught Theatre, and various Acting class at CWI, Lewis and Clark State College, Idaho Shakespeare Festival's School of Drama, and Camp Crescendo, combined for six years. He has been cast member and a producer for several Boise area improv troupes, including Recycled Minds Improv and Insert Foot. Jef is a playwright and has had several of his plays performed and read at theatres in Idaho and Oregon. He is a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader.
